A few hours ago the guys from Qualcomm announced two new SoC for mid – range: the new Snapdragon 653 and 626 series On the other hand, for the lower range of devices, the company has unveiled the new Snapdragon 427.
The three new SoC include modem LTE Snapdragon X9, which may offer download speeds of up to 300 Mbps (category 7) and upload speeds of up to 150 Mbps (category 13) . Another interesting news we can find on the new chips is support for dual camera and fast charging 3.0 and codecs for enhanced voice (EVS) of the VoLTE calls services.
Meanwhile, the 653 retains Snapdragon CPU configuration octa-core model 652, which offers quad -core Cortex A-72 and four A53 cores . Qualcomm increased frequency of nuclei from 1,80GHz A72 until 1,95GHz in 652, resulting in an increase of 10% in performance.

On the other hand, it should be mentioned that the A53 cores still retain their speed 1,44GHz. In addition the Snapdragon 653 also retains the Adreno 510 GPU also seeing an increase in frequency. The guys atAndroid Central mention that Qualcomm has also doubled the addressable memory , making the Snapdragon 653 supports up to 8GB of RAM.

As for the Snapdragon 626, this has also seen an increase of 10% in performance 625 model thanks to a small touch on the clocks of CPU cores Cortex A53 of their passing from 2.0GHz to 2.2GHz .Furthermore , this processor features antenna technology that propelled TruSignal Qualcomm, which is designed to improve signal reception in the most congested areas.
The Snapdragon 427 has the same 1.4GHz quad-core of the model 425, but the latest model is benefited by TruSignal X9l antenna technology, the LTE modem and dual ISP . It is worth mentioning that the new Snapdragon 653 and 626 will be available before the end of the year, while the Snapdragon 427 devices come early next 2017.
