“In an effort to make the social network safer, Twiter has implemented a new feature this week in which certain profiles can receive warnings that they can display sensitive content.”
With the news, when users click on a link to a profile on the microblogging network, Twitter may present a warning message with the words: “This profile may include sensitive content,” something to warn Internet users about the content of what can Be read.
The warning occupies the entire page, meaning the reading of messages in that Twitter profile is only released after the user accepts the conditions.
This new Twitter, which has recently taken action on its technology to reduce speeches of hate and verbal violence on the platform, meets the other request: freedom of speech. Even if some opinions are not popular, freedom of speech is protected.
To aid in these new tools, Twitter has recently announced that it is focusing on improving its artificial intelligence technologies. According to Twitter, the network is able to detect strange patterns in comments and offensive terms to suppress this type of practice on the platform.
